An overview: The event programme of spoga+gafa 2019

From 1 to 3 September the world's largest garden fair will present the current trends and theme worlds of the green industry in Cologne. In addition, once again this year a comprehensive event programme is being offered. Here a few of the highlights:

Boulevard of ideas

The "Boulevard of ideas" traditionally focuses on the current garden trends. Innovative products from all product segments will be presented here. In this way, the trade visitors will receive a concise overview of the new products of the participating exhibitors as well as manifold impulses.

Forum Garden Café

The Forum Garden Café on the Boulevard concentrates on the professional contents. Alongside the TASPO Talks, in cooperation with the magazine TASPO, a row of interesting lectures will be offered. Industry experts will for instance talk about "Artificial intelligence within the trade", "Employer branding as a success factor" or "Sustainability as a sales argument".

POS Green Solution Islands

Plant trend themes at the point of sale are the focal point of the POS Green Solution Islands. Here inspiration and examples of implementation for campaign areas in garden centres and DIY stores will be offered. This year the key theme is "City Gardening". The four theme islands are entitled 'Wellness in Nature', 'Kids Garden', 'Flower Power' and 'Living with Plants - My Tiny Coffee Shop'.

Outdoor Kitchen World

You will also find the Outdoor Kitchen World in Hall 8 again this year. Here, the exhibitors will be presenting high-quality, modular solutions where the barbecue, sink and work top can be combined as desired or required.

BEEF! ON STAGE

In Hall 8 you can also experience "BEEF! ON STAGE" several times a day. The food and lifestyle magazine for men is actively participating at spoga+gafa for the first time. Cooking professionals will prepare the typical BEEF! recipes for the trade fair visitors and the editorial team will answer their questions.

IVG Power Place Akku & Power Place City Gardening

Innovative technologies and smart solutions for outdoor lighting, lawn care and irrigation are once again the focus of the two theme islands in Hall 6. But more and more smart technology is being implemented on the terrace and balcony too. The special exhibitions IVG Power Place Akku and Power Place City Gardening will present many interesting new products. Furthermore, in addition to the product presentations, exciting lectures and podium discussions on the current developments and relevant trade themes also await you daily from 10:00 a.m. onwards in the Forum 6.1.

Trendshow Outdoor Furniture & Decoration

For the second time, spoga+gafa is dedicating an own special zone to the outdoor furniture and decoration trends of tomorrow. Trendsetting and ground-breaking new products will be showcased on product islands in the garden unique section. This year's exhibition will be curated by the famous design office branherm + krumrey.

The special event entitled "Icons of Outdoor Furniture" offers the appropriate setting for the trends, where the most stylish garden furniture from 1960 to the present day will be presented.

IVG Garden Party

Following tradition, the Garden Industry Association e.V. (IVG) is inviting the green industry to its garden party on the second evening of the trade fair. Come to the IVG Stand in Hall 6.1 from 5:30 p.m. onwards on 2 September and bring the day to a sociable close and enjoy interesting discussions.

Garden Centre Day

In cooperation with the Association of German Garden Centres e.V. (VDG), the Garden Centre Day is being staged on 1 September at spoga+gafa. The day will be rounded off by the Happy Hour of the VDG at its stand, A 016 / B 017 in the Passage between Halls 4 and 5, which commences at 5:00 p.m.
